Raspberry ketones are phenolic compounds (a class of natural substances found in plants) derived from red raspberries. Raspberry ketones are responsible for the distinct aroma of raspberries, and are commonly used as a fragrance and/or food flavoring. When taken as a dietary supplement, raspberry ketones, Dr. Oz suggests, has been shown to increase fat loss through a number of different pathways. Raspberry has been used throughout the centuries for nutritional and medicinal purposes. Like its popular relatives, the strawberry and blueberry, raspberry contains an abundance of health promoting substances. The unique fragrance and flavor of raspberry comes from raspberry ketone (also known as 4-(4-hydroxyphenyl) but an-2-one), which is unique to a raspberry, and is widely used as a fragrance in cosmetics and as a flavoring agent in foodstuffs.

What can I say, DR OZ was right!

After seeing Dr Oz's segment about raspberry ketones I picked these up to try out. Over the past year I have lost 65 lbs but just haven't been able to cut the last remaining fat from my mid section. After taking these for a week I saw a visibly noticeable difference in my body composition and BF skin fold testing showed a decreased body fat percentage. I will continue taking these and I try to burn off the remaining belly fat. As always, Labrada's products are always right on target when it comes to quality.

I'm a 45 year old female whose already low fat and low sodium diet and moderate exercise no longer worked to maintain my weight. My weight was slowly creeping up. I have been taking the raspberry ketones for 2 weeks. I've lost 3 pounds. Week one I took one per day in the afternoon (when I tend to snack) and week two I've taken two per day (around 8am and 3pm) because I've been dining out a lot lately and I wanted to combat the high calorie food/portions. I found out the hard way if I take one too late in the evening (7pm) I have trouble sleeping.On the upside, I immediately noticed an increase in energy and I'd keep taking them for that reason alone. On the downside, they have also caused gas and belching.I have altered my exercise from walking to bicycling. That is burning more calories for sure. I've also stopped snacking after 8pm (for the most part). So the weight loss is probably not the raspberry ketones alone but I feel they certainly do help.Lastly, I have high blood pressure and take two medicatons to control it every morning. I've monitored my blood pressure since starting the raspberry ketones and there has been no change. I have felt what I think may be heart palpitations once or twice but I'm not sure if that is the raspberry ketones or a symptom of perimenopause. At this point I'm not concerned about it.

Did Not Work

Hi, was very excited when I heard about this product from a nurse that visited my job. I got absolutely no results at all...none. I was pretty dissapointed as some of the reviews were good and I really like Dr. Oz I guess I'll keep trying until I find something that works. Good Luck!!
